Optical Polarimetry and Radio Observations of PKS1510-089 between 2009 and 2013
The blazar PKS 1510-089 has shown intense activity at γ -rays in the recent years. In this work, we discussed the results of our 7 mm radio continuum and optical polarimetric monitoring between 2009 and 2013. In 2009, we detected a large rotation of

The time sweeps of images of optical breakdown plasma flashes under irradiation of aqueous solutions of Fe nanoparticles with Nd: YAG laser radiation (λ = 1,064 nm, τ = 10 ns, ν = 10 kHz, ε = 2 mJ) are studied. It is shown that the sizes of plasma flares,

We report simultaneous multicolour observations in 5 bands (UBVRI) of the flickering variability of the cataclysmic variable AE Aqr. Our aim is to estimate the parameters (colours, temperature, size) of the fireballs that produce the optical flares ...

Objective Clinical response to mycophenolic acid (MPA) is highly heterogeneous; thus, therapeutic drug level monitoring (TDM) may help improve treatment efficacy. This systematic review and meta‐analysis examined therapeutic ranges for MPA levels associated with better outcomes and safety in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE ...

Objective Despite well‐described biologic causes, the public views unhealthy lifestyle choices as the primary cause of gout. This study investigated how causal beliefs about gout influence the public's views about its management. Methods In a randomized study, 201 members of the public viewed one of two 2‐minute videos about gout.

Diversity of multiwavelength emission bumps in the GRB 100219A afterglow
Context. Multi-wavelength observations of gamma-ray burst (GRB) afterglows provide important information about the activity of their central engines and their environments.

Impact flare in exosystems: optical manifestation
A general discrepancy of statistics observed for known population of exosystems (exoplanets, exocomets and exosateroids)is noted. The most populated exosystem objects (i.e. exoasteroids) demonstrate the most poorly optic/IR manifestation. Sofar, only 2 events observed in IR are interpreted as an exoasteroid manifestation.

Objective The concern that nonsteroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may precipitate flares of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has limited their use in managing musculoskeletal symptoms in those with IBD, but safety data are mixed. Methods This retrospective cohort study included patients with IBD aged at least 18 years from Optum's deidentified ...

Multi-Frequency Monitoring of the Flat Spectrum Radio Quasar PKS 1222+216 in 2008–2015
We analyze the broadband activity of the flat spectrum radio quasar PKS 1222+216 from 2008 to 2015 using multi-frequency monitoring which involves γ-ray data from the Fermi Large Area Telescope, total intensity and linear polarization observations from ...
