Quantum oscillations and magnetic reconstruction in the delafossite PdCrO2 [PDF]
The authors acknowledge funding from the UK EPSRC, the MEXT KAKENHI (Grant No. 21340100), the Royal Society, the Wolfson Foundation, and the Max Planck Society. We report quantum oscillation data on the metallic triangular antiferromagnet PdCrO2.

Single-atom imaging of fermions in a quantum-gas microscope
The authors acknowledge support by EU (ERC-StG FERMILATT, SIQS, Marie Curie Fellowship to E.H.), EPSRC, Scottish Universities Physics Alliance (SUPA).Single-atom-resolved detection in optical lattices using quantum-gas microscopes has enabled a new ...

We modified the spectral renormalization method as the pseudospectral renormalization method in order to find the localized solutions. The pseudospectral renormalization method can be applied to a large class of problems including different homogeneities.

ABSTRACT Objective To (1) validate GAD65‐ELISA detection and quantification for type 1 diabetes mellitus and autoimmune neurological diagnoses, (2) correlate ELISA results (reference range < 5 IU/mL) with established radioimmunoprecipitation assay (RIA; ≤ 0.02 nmol/L), and (3) define ELISA clinical utility and pitfalls.

A C0(_2) laser lattice experiment for cold atoms [PDF]
This thesis presents work on a laser cooling experiment designed for trapping Rb atoms in a CO(_2) laser optical trap. Some emphasis is placed on experimental features designed to allow the future implementation of a neutral atom quantum computation ...

Frequency Ratio of 199Hg and 87Sr Optical Lattice Clocks beyond the SI Limit
We report on a frequency ratio measurement of a Hg199-based optical lattice clock referencing a Sr87-based clock. Evaluations of lattice light shift, including atomic-motion-dependent shift, enable us to achieve a total systematic uncertainty of 7.2×10 ...

State-Dependent Optical Lattices for the Strontium Optical Qubit [PDF]
We demonstrate state-dependent optical lattices for the Sr optical qubit at the tune-out wavelength for its ground state. We tightly trap excited state atoms while suppressing the effect of the lattice on ground state atoms by more than four orders of magnitude.

The tribological behavior of 100Cr6 steel spheres textured via Vickers microindentation is evaluated under lubricated sliding by varying both dimple size and density. Fine and dense textures significantly reduce friction across all lubrication regimes, while large dimples increase it.

Spin–orbit modulated optical properties in Lieb-to-kagome lattices
We investigate the optical conductivity of two-dimensional flat-band systems undergoing a transition from Lieb to kagome lattice geometries. Using a generalized tight-binding Hamiltonian with intrinsic spin–orbit coupling (ISOC), we compute both the real

Quantum Control of BEC in Optical Lattice
In this paper, it would be worthwhile to consider the theoretical and computational approach of controlling Bose-Einstein Condensates (BEC). In high spatial dimension (2D/3D) case, the BEC system is controlled under external force in trapped optical ...
