Sensitivity of High-Speed Lightwave System Receivers Using InAlAs Avalanche Photodiodes [PDF]
Calculations based on a rigorous analytical model are carried out to compare the sensitivity of optical receivers that use InP and In0.52Al0.48As avalanche photodiodes (APDs). The model includes the effects of intersymbol interference, tunneling current,

A 1.6 Gb/s, 3 mW CMOS receiver for optical communication [PDF]
A 1.6 Gb/s receiver for optical communication has been designed and fabricated in a 0.25-μm CMOS process. This receiver has no transimpedance amplifier and uses the parasitic capacitor of the flip-chip bonded photodetector as an integrating element and ...

Optical receiver with optical feedback
A new optical receiver with optical feedback is described. The optical feedback is implemented by feeding back a fraction of the light from an optical source which is connected to the output of the receiver, to an extra photodiode. The proposed theoretical model was found to be in good agreement with measurement results on a 5 MHz optical receiver.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Multi-Antenna GNSS-Over-Fiber Architecture for Extensive Remote Multi-Baseline Network
GNSS carrier-phase-based double-difference positioning has been widely used in various precision positioning systems. This paper proposes a cost-effective scheme for an extensive multi-antenna remote multi-baseline network using a single GNSS-over-fiber ...
