Optimal impulsive harvest policy for time-dependent logistic equation with periodic coefficients
We study a time-dependent logistic equation with periodic coefficients. First, we show that the impulsive harvest population equation has impulsive periodic solutions for constant effort harvest and for proportional harvest.

In this paper, we are interested in identifying the coefficients of the interaction terms in a parabolic system, which describes two subpopulations of the same species competing for the same resources.

Optimal Control for Multiscale Elliptic Equations with Rough Coefficients
This paper concerns the convex optimal control problem governed by multiscale elliptic equations with arbitrarily rough L∞ coefficients, which has not only complex coupling between nonseparable scales and nonlinearity, but also important applications in ...

Aquaporin‐3 and aquaporin‐5 impact the development of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma spheroids
Schematic representation of the role of aquaporin‐3 (AQP3) and aquaporin‐5 (AQP5) in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Both proteins are upregulated in PDAC and are associated with tumor progression and metastatic potential. Silencing AQP3 or AQP5 in PDAC spheroids results in decreased diameter, area, and overall growth, underscoring their key ...

Optimal coefficients for elliptic PDEs
We consider an optimization problem related to elliptic PDEs of the form $-{\rm div}(a(x)\nabla u)=f$ with Dirichlet boundary condition on a given domain $Ω$. The coefficient $a(x)$ has to be determined, in a suitable given class of admissible choices, in order to optimize a given criterion.

Hyperosmotic stress triggers the relocation of the CFIm complex from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. This shift creates a nuclear ‘stoichiometric bottleneck’, limiting CFIm availability for mRNA processing. Consequently, specific mRNAs like NUDT21 and DICER1 undergo targeted 3′UTR shortening, demonstrating how spatial protein dynamics drive rapid ...

Cosmological Non-Gaussian Signature Detection: Comparing Performance of Different Statistical Tests
Currently, it appears that the best method for non-Gaussianity detection in the cosmic microwave background (CMB) consists in calculating the kurtosis of the wavelet coefficients.
