Herein presented supraparticles combine the nanoparticulate photocatalyst graphitic carbon nitride with the enzyme horseradish peroxidase, which is immobilized on silica nanoparticles. In an optimized compatibility range, both catalysts operate effectively within the hybrid supraparticles and catalyze a cascade reaction consisting of the photocatalytic

Optimal Stopping and Utility in a Simple Modelof Unemployment Insurance
Managing unemployment is one of the key issues in social policies. Unemployment insurance schemes are designed to cushion the financial and morale blow of loss of job but also to encourage the unemployed to seek new jobs more proactively due to the ...

A multivalent antiviral platform based on honeycomb‐shaped DNA nanostructures (HC–Urumin) is developed to enhance the potency and breadth of the host defense peptide Urumin. Through spatially patterned trimeric presentation, HC–Urumin disrupts influenza A virus entry, improves cell viability, and reduces disease severity in vivo‐offering a modular and ...

Optimal Stopping for Partial Sums
We determine $\sup E\lbrack r(S_T)\rbrack$, where $S_n$ is a sequence of partial sums of independent identically distributed random variables, for two reward functions: $r(x) = x^+$ and $r(x) = (e^x - 1)^+$. The supremum is taken over all stop rules $T$. We give conditions under which the optimal expected return is finite.

Mg‐based thermoelectrics are among the most promising candidates for power generation applications but their performance is compromised by Mg loss at device operation temperatures due to the higher chemical potential of Mg (μMg${\mu}_{\mathrm{Mg}}$) inside the material compared to the environment.

Stopping games in continuous time
We study two-player zero-sum stopping games in continuous time and infinite horizon. We prove that the value in randomized stopping times exists as soon as the payoff processes are right-continuous. In particular, as opposed to existing literature, we do

Controlled laser‐drilling of embedded HfO2 membranes creates three layer nanopores with Gaussian‐shaped cavities sculptured in the supporting layers. These embedded solid‐state nanopores slow DNA translocation by 12‐fold compared to SiNx pores, enabling high‐resolution, label‐free detection of short DNAs, RNAs, and proteins.
