Preparation and characterization of renal cell peptides from fetal rats for their antitumor activity

This study aimed to prepare renal cells (RCs) from fetal rats which were digested by enzymes. Candidate peptides RCPs were characterized by capillary HPLC and MS and their bioactivity was predicted using peptideranker. The predicted top 10 bioactive peptides were synthesized.

Orbital pumping by magnetization dynamics in ferromagnets

We show that dynamics of the magnetization in ferromagnets can pump orbital angular momentum, a phenomenon we refer to as orbital pumping. This is the reciprocal phenomenon to orbital torque that induces magnetization dynamics by the orbital angular momentum in nonequilibrium.

Actin dynamics controlled by IqgC, a RasGAP at the crossroads between the IQGAP and fungal GAP1 families

IqgC is a RasGAP from Dictyostelium discoideum. IqgC binds RasG via its RasGAP domain and deactivates it on macroendocytic cups, thereby suppressing the uptake of fluid and particles. IqgC has a positive effect on cell‐substratum adhesion, and its RGCt domain is required for recruitment to ventral foci.
