On Demand Reconstruction within ORCA

open access: yes, 1999
We present ORCA, the object oriented reconstruction software for the CMS experiment at CERN. The main specificity of CARF - the framework used in ORCA -, its mechanism of on demand reconstruction, is demonstrated through the particular case of electron ...

Deciphering transcriptome complexity via long‐read sequencing

open access: yesiMeta, EarlyView.
Long‐read sequencing is transforming transcriptomics from gene‐level quantification to isoform‐resolved interpretation by directly resolving full‐length transcript structures, transcription in repetitive regions, and linked molecular features. This review provides an end‐to‐end roadmap covering sequencing platforms, library preparation strategies ...

Rooted in ORCA – Stance for Embracing Diversity

open access: yes, 2016
SPU’s Marriage and Family Therapy graduate program has developed a relational posture we call an ORCA-Stance. We will tell our story of the development of ORCA rooted in our faith, facilitate experiential exercises for participants, and explore ...

Quantifying coastal ocean anthropogenic carbon changes and their uncertainties

open access: yesLimnology and Oceanography: Methods, EarlyView.
Abstract Despite recent progress in quantifying anthropogenic carbon (Canth) in global oceans, coastal regions remain understudied due to methodological and observational challenges. Here, we develop and generalize a Regional rEgression–based Coastal Anthropogenic carbon estimation algorithm (RECA) designed specifically for coastal environments ...

Thiolate Salt Mediated Dynamic Silyl Ether Exchanges for Polymer Network Design and Deconstruction

open access: yesMacromolecular Rapid Communications, EarlyView.
This work introduces thiolate salts as mediators for dynamic silyl ether exchange. This platform enables the synthesis of reprocessable covalent adaptable polymer networks (CANs) and allows for sterically controlled, and tunable deconstruction of silyl ether‐containing thermosets.
