Hydrophobic MFI‐Type Zeolites via Alkali‐Cation‐Induced Defect Healing: Implications for Adsorbent and Catalyst Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Sub‐stoichiometric amounts of Na+ or K+ enhance defect healing during Silicalite‐1 (MFI) and TS‐1 calcination by promoting Si–O–Si annealing and healing framework vacancies. The resulting defect‐free zeolites are more hydrophobic and show improved butanol/water separation and improved activity and selectivity in the epoxidation of 1‐hexene, offering a ...

Hybrid decision support system disaster management: application of lattice ordered q-rung linear Diophantine fuzzy hypersoft sets [PDF]

open access: yesPeerJ Computer Science
The discovery of the lattice-ordered q-rung linear Diophantine fuzzy hypersoft set is a significant extension of fuzzy set theory. This study describes many of its fundamental algebraic operations, such as restricted union, extended union, restricted ...

Ion Concentration and Voltage Imaging With Fluorescent Nanodiamonds

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate reversible switching between the fluorescent NV0 and the dark NV+ state, in sub‐30 nm FNDs via surface oxidation and hydrogenation, respectively. In an electrochemical cell, we show that the fluorescence from hydrogenated particles enables all‐optical imaging of voltages and ion concentrations at the micrometer scale.

Supplier Selection and Evaluation by Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making Methodology

open access: yesInternational Journal of Industrial Engineering and Production Research, 2011
In this study, an outsourcer evaluation and management system is developed for a manufacturing company by use of Fuzzy goal programming (FGP). A first phase of the methodology evaluation criteria for outsources and the objectives of the company are ...

Processing Direction with Ordered Fuzzy Numbers

open access: yes, 2017
It was already mentioned in previous sections that the Ordered Fuzzy Number (OFN) model can represent a kind of tendency or direction. However, for a real practical use of this feature the tools for processing it are also needed. Of course some kind of quantitative processing is provided by the definitions of calculations, but there is much more ...

Rings of Typed Ordered Fuzzy Numbers

open access: yes, 2020
We construct rings of typed ordered fuzzy numbers whose component functions are of a common form. As this ring also contains improper fuzzy numbers (OFNs whose membership "functions" are actually just relations), we develop a set of operations to convert an improper fuzzy number to a proper one of the same type.

A Notion of Convergence in Fuzzy Partially Ordered Sets

open access: yes, 2020
The notion of sequential convergence in fuzzy partially ordered sets, under the name oF-convergence, is well known. Our aim in this paper is to introduce and study a notion of net convergence, with respect to the fuzzy order relation, named o-convergence,

Inductively Expandable Supraparticles as Microscopic Force Generators for Remote Mechanical Actuation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates the combination of magnetic nanoparticles and functional blowing agents into supraparticles. Upon induction heating, they actuate via rapid gas generation or extensive volume expansion. These supraparticles lift up to 25 000 times their own mass and rapidly open cured epoxy resins, providing a versatile strategy for fast micron ...

STRUCTURAL RELATIONS BETWEEN DISTRIBUTIVE AND CHAINED HESITANT FUZZY MODULES

open access: yesCifra: Машиностроение
This paper explores the structural relationship between distributive and chained hesitant fuzzy modules over rings under the tools of level submodule and homomorphic image.

Q-rung Orthopair Normal Fuzzy Aggregation Operators and Their Application in Multi-Attribute Decision-Making

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
Q-rung orthopair fuzzy set (q-ROFS) is a powerful tool to describe uncertain information in the process of subjective decision-making, but not express vast objective phenomenons that obey normal distribution.
