Asymptotic formulae for the eigenvalues of a two-parameter ordinary differential equation of the second order

open access: yes, 1972
We consider a two-point boundary value problem associated with an ordinary differential equation defined over the unit interval and containing the two parameters A and p. If for each real p.

Targeting rapid TKI‐induced AXL upregulation overcomes adaptive ERK reactivation and exerts antileukemic effects in FLT3/ITD acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Adaptive ERK reactivation hinders FLT3 tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) treatment in FLT3/ITD acute myeloid leukemia. Here, we report that FLT3 TKI treatment rapidly induces AXL expression and upregulation that is temporally associated with the adaptive ERK reactivation.

Image quality improvement in low‐dose chest CT with deep learning image reconstruction

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 23, Issue 12, December 2022., 2022
Abstract Objectives To investigate the clinical utility of deep learning image reconstruction (DLIR) for improving image quality in low‐dose chest CT in comparison with 40% adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction‐Veo (ASiR‐V40%) algorithm. Methods This retrospective study included 86 patients who underwent low‐dose CT for lung cancer screening ...

Method of the Logistic Function for Finding Analytical Solutions of Nonlinear Differential Equations

open access: yesМоделирование и анализ информационных систем, 2015
The method of the logistic function is presented for finding exact solutions of nonlinear differential equations. The application of the method is illustrated by using the nonlinear ordinary differential equation of the fourth order. Analytical solutions

Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) trajectories predict survival in trifluridine/tipiracil‐treated metastatic colorectal cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The authors applied joint/mixed models that predict mortality of trifluridine/tipiracil‐treated metastatic colorectal cancer patients based on circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) trajectories. Patients at high risk of death could be spared aggressive therapy with the prospect of a higher quality of life in their remaining lifetime, whereas patients with a ...

Statistical process control to monitor use of a web‐based autoplanning tool

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 23, Issue 12, December 2022., 2022
Abstract Purpose To investigate the use of statistical process control (SPC) for quality assurance of an integrated web‐based autoplanning tool, Radiation Planning Assistant (RPA). Methods Automatically generated plans were downloaded and imported into two treatment planning systems (TPSs), RayStation and Eclipse, in which they were recalculated using ...

Differential Operator Method of Finding A Particular Solution to An Ordinary Nonhomogeneous Linear Differential Equation with Constant Coefficients [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
We systematically introduce the idea of applying differential operator method to find a particular solution of an ordinary nonhomogeneous linear differential equation with constant coefficients when the nonhomogeneous term is a polynomial function, exponential function, sine function, cosine function or any possible product of these functions.

The general solution of an ordinary differential equation

open access: yesInternational Symposium on Symbolic and Algebraic Computation, 1996
We consider in this paper an implicit non-linear ordinary differential equation P(Z, y, y’) = O. There are several types of solutions. The singular solutions are characterized by the fact they make & vanish.
