Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Perturbation of domain: ordinary differential equations [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh: Section A Mathematics, 2002
We study a boundary perturbation problem for a one-dimensional Schrödinger equation in which the potential has a regular singularity near the perturbed end point. We give the asymptotic behaviour of the eigenvalues under the perturbation. This problem arose out of the author's studies of singular elliptic operators in higher dimensions and we ...

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

On the derivation of the formula for the general solution of an ordinary linear differential equation with constant coefficients

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений. Поволжский регион: Физико-математические науки
Background. Linear differential equations with constant coefficients are often used to solve a number of physical, engineering, chemical and biological problems.

On a list of ordinary differential equations problems [PDF]

open access: yesSão Paulo Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 2018
This evocative essay focuses on the mathematical activities witnessed by the author along 1962-64 at IMPA. The list of research problems proposed in September 1962 by Mauricio Peixoto at the Seminar on the Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations is pointed out as a landmark for the genesis of the research interest in the Qualitative Theory of ...

On the differential invariants of a linear ordinary differential equation [PDF]

open access: yes, 1981
SynopsisLet y(n) + a1y(n−1 +…+ an−1y(1) + an = 0 (*) be a linear ordinary differential equation of order n. A (relative) differential invariant of (*) is a differential polynomial function π(xi) defined on the solution space of (*) satisfying: there is ...

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Some problems in irregular ordinary differential equations [PDF]

open access: yes
We study the non-autonomous ordinary differential equation x = f (t, x) in the situation when the vector field f is of limited regularity, typically belonging to a space LP (O,T; Lq (JRn)).

On one class of solvable boundary value problems for ordinary differential equation of $n$-th order [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
summary:New sufficient conditions of the existence and uniqueness of the solution of a boundary problem for an ordinary differential equation of $n$-th order with certain functional boundary conditions are constructed by the method of a priori ...

Almost sure exponential stability of numerical solutions for stochastic delay differential equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Using techniques based on the continuous and discrete semimartingale convergence theorems, this paper investigates if numerical methods may reproduce the almost sure exponential stability of the exact solutions to stochastic delay differential equations (
