This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

On differential equations and inclusions with mean derivatives on a compact manifold
We introduce and investigate a new sort of stochastic differential inclusions on manifolds, given in terms of mean derivatives of a stochastic process, introduced by Nelson for the needs of the so called stochastic mechanics.

An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

The physical dimensions and shape of bacterial cells define the surface area available to acquire nutrients and the volume available for synthesizing proteins and DNA. Here, we use computational systems biology to decode the importance of cell geometry as a major determinant of prokaryotic phenotype, including growth rate and metabolic efficiency. This

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

METHOD OF AVERAGING FOR ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL INCLUSIONS WITH MAXIMA
We consider some ordinary differential inclusions with maxima perturbed by a small parameter and give justification of the method of averaging for this type of ...

Oscillatory and nonoscillatory solutions for first order impulsive differential inclusions [PDF]
summary:In this paper we discuss the existence of oscillatory and nonoscillatory solutions of first order impulsive differential inclusions. We shall rely on a fixed point theorem of Bohnenblust-Karlin combined with lower and upper solutions ...

Set-valued solutions to the Cauchy problem for hyperbolic systems of partial differential inclusions
On démontre l'existence de solutions multivoques globales du problème de Cauchy pour les systèmes hyperboliques du premier ordre d'équations ou d'inclusions aux dérivées partielles, pour des conditions initiales univoques ou ...
