RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

The nonlocal problem for the differential-operator equation of the even order with the involution

open access: yesKarpatsʹkì Matematičnì Publìkacìï, 2018
In this paper, the problem with boundary nonself-adjoint conditions for a differential-operator equations of the order $2n$ with involution is studied. Spectral properties of operator of the problem is investigated.

dUTPase is essential in zebrafish development and possesses several single‐nucleotide variants with pronounced structural and functional consequences

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
dUTPases are involved in balancing the appropriate nucleotide pools. We showed that dUTPase is essential for normal development in zebrafish. The different zebrafish genomes contain several single‐nucleotide variations (SNPs) of the dut gene. One of the dUTPase variants displayed drastically lower protein stability and catalytic efficiency as compared ...

Polarization‐resolved femtosecond Vis/IR spectroscopy tailored for resolving weak signals in biological samples using minimal sample volume

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Relative boundedness and compactness theory for second-order differential operators

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 1997
The problem considered is to give necessary and sufficient conditions for perturbations of a second-order ordinary differential operator to be either relatively bounded or relatively compact. Such conditions are found for three classes of operators. The

Computation of Green's matrices for boundary value problems associated with a pair of mixed linear regular ordinary differential operators

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1995
An algorithm for the computation of Green's matrices for boundary value problems associated with a pair of mixed linear regular ordinary differential operators is presented and two examples from the studies of acoustic waveguides in ocean and transverse ...

Multi‐omics and low‐input proteomics profiling reveals dynamic regulation driving pluripotency initiation in early mouse embryos

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Mouse pre‐implantation development involves a transition from totipotency to pluripotency. Integrating transcriptomics, epigenetic profiling, low‐input proteomics and functional assays, we show that eight‐cell embryos retain residual totipotency features, whereas cytoskeletal remodeling regulated by the ubiquitin‐proteasome system drives progression ...

INTEGRAL METHOD OF SOLVING HEAT-CONDUCTION PROBLEMS WITH THE SECOND-KIND BOUNDARY CONDITION. 1. BASIC STATEMENTS

open access: yesВесці Нацыянальнай акадэміі навук Беларусі: Серыя фізіка-тэхнічных навук, 2018
On the basis of systems of identical equalities and integral boundary characteristics, a new algorithm of solving a boundary-value problem on the nonstationary heat conduction in a canonical body with boundary condition of the second kind has been ...
