CircRSU1 Activates the hnRNPA1/HIF‐1α/CD24 Signaling Axis, Promoting Stemness Features of Hepatocellular Carcinoma

This study reveals circRSU1 with important oncogenic roles in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). CircRSU1, highly abundant in HCC, interacts with and stabilizes hnRNPA1 from ubiquitination and degradation. This stabilization facilitates hnRNPA1 binding to the internal ribosome entry site of HIF1A to increase HIF‐1α protein translation.

Forecasting Root Rot Disease through Predictive Microbial Functional Profiling

Predicting soil‐borne disease moves beyond observation with a framework that elevates microbial functional genes into reliable forecasting biomarkers. By coupling targeted qPCR assays for core stress‐response genes with machine learning, this method detects root rot risks in pre‐symptomatic soils with over 80% accuracy.

Biosynthesis of Kaitocephalin: A Neuroprotective Natural Product Featuring a Peptide‐Like yet Nonpeptidic Scaffold

Kaitocephalin (KCP) is a neuroprotective fungal metabolite with a unique scaffold of amino acids linked via C–C bonds. Genome‐transcriptome analyses identified its biosynthetic gene cluster (kpb cluster) in Eupenicillium shearii. LC‐MS/MS profiling identified four new KCP‐related compounds.
