Analytic model for organic thin film transistors (OTFTs): effect of contact resistances application to the octithiophene

The European Physical Journal Applied Physics, 2009
Thin film organic field-effect transistors were grown with vapor-deposited polycrystalline-octithiophene on silicon oxide insulating layers. This component requires an ohmic source and drain contacts for ideal operation. The performance of organic electronic-devices is often limited by injection.

New Indolo[3,2-b]indole based small organic molecules for Organic Thin Film Transistors (OTFTs): A combined experimental and DFT Study

Journal of Molecular Structure, 2021
Abstract Synthesis of new indolo[3,2-b]indoles (5a- 5j) in presence of Ag-doped ZnO and (Diacetoxyiodo) benzene system under visible-light have been reported. All the new fused linear heterocyclic indolo[3,2-b]indole systems (5a- 5j) thoroughly characterized by spectroscopic methods like mass, UV-visible, NMR and C, H, N elemental analysis.

Application of tosylate-doped poly(3,4ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) films into bottom contact pentacene organic thin film transistors (OTFTs)

Thin Solid Films, 2010
Abstract The effect of iron(III) p-toluenesulfonate hexahydrate (Fe(PTS)3) concentration on the formation and patternability of poly(3,4ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) films on (3-aminopropyl)trimethoxysilane (APS) monolayer was investigated. Low deposition rate yielded highly conductive and very smooth PEDOT films.

CHEMICAL MODIFICATION OF GATE DIELECTRIC SURFACES IN ORGANIC THIN FILM TRANSISTOR (OTFT) THROUGH MOLECULAR SELF-ASSEMBLY

Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals, 2003
To modify SiO 2 dielectric surface of bottom-contact OTFT device, octadecyl-triethoxysilane (OTES) was used to find optimum condition of surface modification for triethoxysilane derivatives. Either spin-coating method or solution dipping method was applied to modify the dielectric surface with OTES.

10.3: 4.0 Inch Organic Thin Film Transistor (OTFT) Based Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode (AMOLED) Display

SID Symposium Digest of Technical Papers, 2006
Abstract We have developed a 4.0 inch pentacene organic thin‐film transistors (OTFTs) based active matrix organic light‐emitting diode (AMOLED) display. To achieve bright and uniform displays, we have investigated several process issues unique to OTFT‐based OLEDs.

Performance enhancement of top contact pentacene-based organic thin-film transistor (OTFT) using perylene interlayer between organic/electrode interface

Applied Physics A, 2017
We have investigated the effect of perylene interlayer between the organic/electrode interface on the electrical performance of a top contact pentacene-based OTFT. We have found the performance enhancement of the OTFT device. The OTFT devices with perylene layer show better field effect mobility and on–off ratio than that of having only metal ...
