TANSO, 2010 現在一般的にリチウムイオン電池の溶媒に用いられている高融点（36°C）のエチレンカーボネート（EC）に比べプロピレンカーボネート（PC）は低い融点（−55°C）を示すためより低温での使用を可能にできるが，PCを含む電解液中では天然黒鉛へ表面保護被膜が形成しにくいためPCの使用に制限がある。しかし，格子欠陥や表面構造の乱れが大きな低結晶性炭素はPCを含む電解液中でも表面保護皮膜の形成が可能である。そこで，種々のフッ素化剤を用いて天然黒鉛の表面修飾を行い，PCを含む電解液中での充放電特性の変化を調べた。また，リチウムイオン電池の電解液には可燃性の有機溶媒が用いられるため，高温や過充電などによる発火や爆発の恐れがあり，電池の安全性を向上させる必要に迫られている。そのため，電解液に高い耐熱性 ...
