DETERMINANTS OF ADOPTION OF ALTERNATIVES TO ORGANOPHOSPHATE USE IN CALIFORNIA ALMONDS [PDF]
In order to explain trends in pesticide use, modeling efforts were undertaken related to dormant season organophosphate use in California almonds. Over time, growers are less likely to choose to use environmentally unfriendly pesticides, especially when ...

This review summarizes the design scheme of organic components to improve the fire safety of lithium batteries in recent 5 years. Besides the development of electrolyte tends to be safer and more intelligent, the flame retardancy of separators which consist of organic polymer can also be improved by physical or chemical modification.

A Critical Overview of Common Foodborne Toxicants and Methods for Their Reliable Detection
ABSTRACT Food is an essential commodity for human health. However, toxicants such as mycotoxins, heavy metals, acrylamide, and pesticides can be present in food either naturally or through processing, packaging, or some anthropogenic activities. A thorough review of carefully selected studies revealed that climate change and pandemics have led to an ...

ABSTRACT Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is closely associated with coronary artery disease (CAD); however, their shared genetic traits and molecular mechanisms in lipid metabolism remain unclear. In this study, we identified that the differentially expressed genes in NAFLD and CAD intersected with lipid metabolism genes to obtain three key ...

This study investigates the peripheral neuropathy induced by the pesticide Lambda‐cyhalothrin (CYH) and how carvacrol (CRV) treatment reduces these effects. CYH causes neurological disorders, oxidative stress, and inflammation, while CRV reverses these harmful effects with its antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory, and antiapoptotic properties.
