Organotellurium(VI) fluorides

Journal of Fluorine Chemistry, 1985
Abstract A series of phenyltellurium(VI) fluorides have been prepared by the oxidative-fluorination of tellurium compounds with xenon difluoride. The compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, fluorine and tellurium nmr, and mass spectrometry.

Organotellurium(VI) Azides and Halides

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2004
The reaction of azide with organotellurium(VI) halides Ph(5)TeBr and cis-(biphen)(2)TeF(2) (biphen = 2,2'-biphenyldiyl) resulted in the formation and isolation of Ph(5)TeN(3) (1) and cis-(biphen)(2)Te(N(3))(2) (2), which are the first tellurium(VI)-azide species.

Stabilisation of PVC with organotellurium compounds

Polymer Degradation and Stability, 1988
Abstract Organotellurium compounds are shown to behave similarly to organotin compounds as thermal and UV stabilisers for PVC. The most effective of these, the dialkyltellurium maleates, were, however, less effective than the corresponding tin compounds but the study points the way to further progress in the design of organometallic compounds as PVC ...
