Studies of organotin(IV)-orthoquinone systems
Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 1998Abstract The primary process in the reaction of hexaphenylditin with various substituted orthoquinones (Q) is shown to involve attack by the quinone at a phenyl ligand. The intermediate thus formed decomposes to yield Ph3Sn(SQ·), where S(Q·−) is the corresponding semiquinonate.

Anticancer activity of organotin(IV) carboxylates
Inorganica Chimica Acta, 2014Abstract This article provides a critical review of the anticancer activity of organotin(IV) carboxylates in the last five years. Most of the organotin(IV) carboxylates discussed in this review have greater anticancer activity against different cell lines than do the standard drugs.

Di- and tri-organotin(IV) diphenyldithiophosphinates
Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 1987Abstract Di- and tri-organotin(IV) diphenyldithiophosphinates, R 2 Sn(S 2 PPh 2 ) 2 (R Me, n-Bu, Bz, Ph) and R 3 SnS 2 PPh 2 (R Me, Cy, Bz, Ph) were prepared by reaction of the corresponding organotin chlorides or oxides with diphenyldithiophosphinic acid or its ammonium salt. All the compounds were characterized by IR and 1 H NMR spectra. For

Chemistry and applications of organotin(iv) complexes of Schiff bases
Dalton Transactions, 2011Schiff bases are the most widely used versatile ligands, able to coordinate many elements and to stabilize them in various oxidation states. Recently, this class of compounds has been employed as models for biological systems, and in control of stereochemistry in six-coordinate transition metal complexes.

Tin(IV) and Organotin(IV) Derivatives of N-Benzalanthranilic Acid
Synthesis and Reactivity in Inorganic and Metal-Organic Chemistry, 1985Abstract Reactions of N-Benzalanthranilic acid with tin tetraacetate and organotin compounds have been studied. The reactions are facile. I.R., PMR and conductometric data are reported and discussed in relation to the structures of the reported compounds.

Tin(IV) and organotin(IV) derivatives of novel β-diketones
Inorganica Chimica Acta, 1997Abstract A series of new tin(IV) and organotin(IV) derivatives has been synthesized. In basic (triethylamine) chloroform solution five- [R 2 SnCl(Q * )] and six-coordinate [R 2 Sn(Q * ) 2 ] tin(IV) derivatives (HQ * =1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-trichloroacetylpyrazol-5-one; R=Ph, Bz) are obtained. In basic (KOH) alcoholic R′OH solution (R′=Me, Et) [R 2 Sn(

New tin(IV) and organotin(IV) chelates of ferrocenyl hydrazones
Inorganica Chimica Acta, 1983Several new tin(IV) and organotin(IV) complexes of the composition R2SnL2 (where R = chloro, butyl or octyl group and L = ferrocenyl hydrazone anion) have been synthesized by reacting tin(II) dichloride hydrate, dibutyltin(IV) oxide and dioctyltin(IV) oxide with ferrocenyl hydrazones of the type (where Fc = ferrocenyl moiety and Ar = phenyl, p ...

Bioactive versatile azomethine complexes of organotin(IV) and organosilicon(IV)
Applied Organometallic Chemistry, 1998Diorganotin(IV) and diorganosilicon(IV) derivatives of the types R 2 MCl(TSCZ) and R 2 M(TSCZ) 2 (where TSCZ is the anion of a thiosemicarbazone ligand, R = Ph or Me and M = Sn or Si) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, molecular weight determinations and conductivity measurements. The mode of bonding has been established on

Performance Study of Organotin (IV) Complexes
International Journal of Organic and Inorganic Chemistry, 2018Organotin(IV) complexes possess at least one covalent carbon to organotin bond as part of its structural characteristics [1]. It also contains tin in a +4 oxidation state bonded to donor atoms of a number of ligands. They have received a lot of research interests due to their structural diversity and numerous applications [2].
