Four new organotin(IV) carboxylates, [Bu(2)SnL(2)] (1), [Et(2)SnL(2)] (2), [Bu(3)SnL](n) (3), [Me(3)SnL](n) (4), where L = 4-nitrophenylethanoates, were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR and multinuclear NMR ((1)H and (13)C). Spectroscopic results authenticated the coordination of ligand to the organotin moiety via COO group ...

Synthesis and Structure of Organotin(IV) Complexes of Maltol
Chemische Berichte, 1994A series of organotin(IV) maltol complexes R4 — xSnLx (1–4, 6; x = 1–3) and the dichloro‐compound Cl2SnL2 (5) have been prepared and characterized on the basis of their IR‐, 1H‐, 13C‐ and 119Sn‐NMR data. While an X‐ray crystal structure analysis of Ph2SnL2 (4) and Cl2SnL2 (5) reveals distorted cis‐octahedral structures, the Me2SnL2 molecule (2) adopts ...

Thermal degradation analysis of organotin(IV) esters
Journal of the Iranian Chemical Society, 2009The di- and tri-organotin(IV) complexes of n-butyl hydrogenphthalate and (Z) 3-(4-nitrophenyl)-2-phenyl-2-propenoate were subjected to thermal decomposition by mean of thermogravimetry (TG). The decomposition occurred in steps and the kinetics of every set of reactions was determined using the method described by Coats and Redfern.

Hydrolysis Processes of Organotin(IV) Compounds in Sea Water
2000Organotin(IV) compounds include a variety of organometallic moieties characterized by a central tin atom covalently bonded to various organic groups (methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl, octyl, phenyl, etc.) through one or more carbon atoms. Their general formula can be indicated as R n SnX(4−n) (R = organic group; X = halide, nitrate, acetate, hydroxide, etc.

Organotin and tin(IV) derivatives of dimethyldithioarsinic acid
Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 1982Abstract Organotin derivatives of dimethyldithioarsinic (dithocacodylic) acid have been obtained from the appropriate organotin chloride and the sodium salt of the latter. Tin(IV) chloride and NaS 2 AsMe 2 · 2 H 2 O yielded only two products, namely Cl 2 Sn(S 2 AsMe 2 ) 2 and Sn (S 2 AsMe 2 ) 4 , regardless of the reagent ratio.

Equilibrium studies of organotin(IV) complexes with vitamin B6
Talanta, 1997The complex-formation equilibria of dimethyltin(IV), trimethyltin(IV) and tributyltin(IV) with pyridoxamine were investigated in dioxane-water mixtures and at different temperatures using a potentiometric technique. The stepwise formation constants of the complexes formed in solution were calculated using the non-linear least-square program MINIQUAD-75.
