Organotin(IV) isothiocyanatochromates

Transition Metal Chemistry, 1977
Several new compounds of the type [R3Sn]3[Cr(NCS)6] and [R3Sn][Cr(NCS)4L2], where R = Ph or n-Bu and L = NH3, PhNH2 or CO(NH2)2, have been synthesized and characterized by analytical data, i.r. and electronic spectral studies. Conductance measurements indicate that the compounds are ionic.

Organotin(IV) Pyrrole-N-carbodithioates

Synthesis and Reactivity in Inorganic and Metal-Organic Chemistry, 1990
Abstract Organo mono-, bis- and tris(pyrrole-N-carbodithioato) tin(IV) and dichlorobis(pyrrole-N-carbodithioato)tin(IV) complexes have been synthesized. Bonding modes and probable structures have been discussed on the basis of IR and multinuclear NMR spectral data. A very preliminary result on X-ray structure of Me2Sn(S2CNC4H4)2 has been given.

Organotin(IV) monothio-β-diketonates

Australian Journal of Chemistry, 1982
Triorgano-and monoorgano-tin(IV) derivatives of monothio-ß-diketones have been prepared by different routes and characterized. Spectroscopic data suggest that triorganotin(iV) complexes, in sharp contrast to monoorganotin(IV) analogues, contain monothio-ß-diketone moieties functioning as unidentate ligands bonded through the sulfur atoms.

Structural chemistry of organotin(IV) complexes

Journal of the Iranian Chemical Society, 2008
The amazing structural diversity in organotin compounds is discussed in the systems containing -O and -S donor ligands. It is demonstrated that there exist a fascinating range of structural diversity for organotin(IV) complexes, including differences in coordination number and molecular geometry.

New mono-organotin (IV) dithiocarbamate complexes

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2014
Eighteen new mono-organotin dithiocarbamate compounds derived each nine from methyltin(IV) and phenyltin(IV) reacted using in-situ method with various type of N-dialkylamine together with carbon disulphide with the ratio of 1:3:3. Elemental and gravimetric analysis showed that the general formula of these compounds were RSnCl[S2CNR′R″]2 (R= Ph, CH3, R′

Anticancer activity of organotin(IV) carboxylates

Inorganica Chimica Acta, 2014
Abstract This article provides a critical review of the anticancer activity of organotin(IV) carboxylates in the last five years. Most of the organotin(IV) carboxylates discussed in this review have greater anticancer activity against different cell lines than do the standard drugs.
