Bonding modes and probable structures have been discussed on the basis of IR and multinuclear NMR spectral data. A very preliminary result on X-ray structure of Me2Sn(S2CNC4H4)2 has been given.

Organotin(IV) monothio-β-diketonates
Australian Journal of Chemistry, 1982Triorgano-and monoorgano-tin(IV) derivatives of monothio-ß-diketones have been prepared by different routes and characterized. Spectroscopic data suggest that triorganotin(iV) complexes, in sharp contrast to monoorganotin(IV) analogues, contain monothio-ß-diketone moieties functioning as unidentate ligands bonded through the sulfur atoms.
