Reactions of organotin(IV) compounds with platinum complexes
Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 1999Abstract Organotin(IV) compounds SnRxCl4−x (R=Me, Ph; x=4−0) add oxidatively to [Pt(COD)2] (COD=cycloocta-1,5-diene) to yield platinum(II) complexes in which Pt has inserted into the SnCl or SnR bonds, displacing one COD entity. The new complexes react with tertiary phosphines, e.g.

Synthesis and characterization of new organotin(IV) complexes with polyfunctional ligands
Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 2006Abstract New mono-, di- and tri-organotin(IV) derivatives containing the neutral bis(2-pyridylthio)methane ligand, [(pyS) 2 CH 2 ] and tris(2-pyridylthio)methane ligand, [(pyS) 3 CH] have been synthesized from reaction with SnR n Cl 4− n (R = Me, n Bu, Ph and Cy, n = 1–3) acceptors. Mono-nuclear adducts of the type {[(pyS) 2 CH 2 ]R n SnCl

Mössbauer studies on tin(IV) and organotin(IV) diacetylbis(benzoylhydrazone) complexes
Inorganica Chimica Acta, 1974Abstract The Mossbauer parameters of Ph 2 SnDB, PhClSnDB and Sn(DB) 2 were determined, where DB 2− is the dianion of the multidentate ligand diacetylbis(benzoylhydrazone). According also to data treatment with the point charge model formalism, the configurations of Ph 2 Sn IV and PhSn IV derivatives appear to be essentially octahedral, with ...

Organotin(IV) Complexes of N-(Salicylidene) Anthranilic Acid
Synthesis and Reactivity in Inorganic and Metal-Organic Chemistry, 1995Abstract A few organotin(IV) complexes with the dibasic tridentate ligand N-(salicylidene) anthranilic acid have been prepared in different metal-ligand ratios. These derivatives have been characterised by elemental analyses, IR, 1H NMR and 119Sn NMR spectral studies.

Biologically active organotin(IV) schiff base complexes
Journal of the Iranian Chemical Society, 2010Organotin(IV) complexes with the general formulae R3ML [R: alkyl (Et, Ph and Bz), M: Sn and L: 1,3-bis(2hydroxybenzylidene)thiourea were synthesized. The newly synthesized schiff base and its complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, melting point, molecular weight determination, IR and NMR [ 1 H, 13 C and 119 Sn] spectral methods.
