Organotin(IV) chloride complexes of bis-β-ketophosphonium ylides

Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 1986
Abstract The coordination behaviour of bis-β-ketophosphonium ylides, (Ph3 P + - C RCO(CH2)nCO C R- P + Ph3) towards some organotin(IV) chlorides has been studied. Accordingly, organotin(IV) chloride complexes of the general formula (Ph3 P + - C RCO(CH2)nCO C R- P + Ph3)R′xSnCl4−x (n = 0 or 2; x= 1−3) have been ...

Reactions of organotin(IV) compounds with platinum complexes

Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 1999
Abstract Organotin(IV) compounds SnRxCl4−x (R=Me, Ph; x=4−0) add oxidatively to [Pt(COD)2] (COD=cycloocta-1,5-diene) to yield platinum(II) complexes in which Pt has inserted into the SnCl or SnR bonds, displacing one COD entity. The new complexes react with tertiary phosphines, e.g.

Synthesis and Structure of Organotin(IV) Complexes of Maltol

Chemische Berichte, 1994
A series of organotin(IV) maltol complexes R4 — xSnLx (1–4, 6; x = 1–3) and the dichloro‐compound Cl2SnL2 (5) have been prepared and characterized on the basis of their IR‐, 1H‐, 13C‐ and 119Sn‐NMR data. While an X‐ray crystal structure analysis of Ph2SnL2 (4) and Cl2SnL2 (5) reveals distorted cis‐octahedral structures, the Me2SnL2 molecule (2) adopts ...

Hirshfeld surface analysis of new organotin(IV)-phosphoramide complexes

Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 2014
Abstract Hirshfeld surfaces and two-dimensional fingerprint plots are used to study short intermolecular contacts in new organotin(IV)-phosphoramide complexes, (L1)2Cl2Me2Sn (1), (L2)Cl2Me2Sn (2) and (L3)2Cl2Me2Sn (3) [L1 = (C5H9NH)3PO, L2 = [(CH3)3CNH][C6H5CH2N(CH3)]2PO and L3 = (3-F-C6H4C(O)NH)(N(CH3)C6H11)2PO]. Biologically potent organotin(IV) complexes of 2-maleimidoacetic acid

Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 2004
Abstract The in vitro LD50, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-yeast bio-tests are carried out, which proved them to be powerful biocides. The in vitro anti-tumour and analgesic activities also displayed excellent potential of the title compounds. Series of organotin(IV) complexes are synthesized and characterized.
