Even Orientations and Pfaffian graphs [PDF]
We give a characterization of Pfaffian graphs in terms of even orientations, extending the characterization of near bipartite non--pfaffian graphs by Fischer and Little \cite{FL}. Our graph theoretical characterization is equivalent to the one proved by Little in \cite{L73} (cf. \cite{LR}) using linear algebra arguments.

On the oriented chromatic index of oriented graphs [PDF]
AbstractA homomorphism from an oriented graph G to an oriented graph H is a mapping $\varphi$ from the set of vertices of G to the set of vertices of H such that $\buildrel {\longrightarrow}\over {\varphi (u) \varphi (v)}$ is an arc in H whenever $\buildrel {\longrightarrow}\over {uv}$ is an arc in G. The oriented chromatic index of an oriented graph G

A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Completing orientations of partially oriented graphs [PDF]
AbstractWe initiate a general study of what we call orientation completion problems. For a fixed class of oriented graphs, the orientation completion problem asks whether a given partially oriented graph P can be completed to an oriented graph in by orienting the (nonoriented) edges in P.
