Boron Nitride Nanomaterials Trigger Immunomodulatory Effects in Human Broncho‐Epithelial Cells by Modulating Eicosanoid Lipid Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that BNNT exposure disrupts lipid homeostasis in bronchial epithelial cell cultures and activates eicosanoid lipid biosynthesis, producing inflammatory lipid mediators like leukotrienes. These effects are more pronounced in asthmatic cell cultures compared to healthy ones.

Tooth in oropharynx

open access: yesJournal of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, 2011
The incidence of ectopic teeth has increased. In many cases, the etiology of ectopic teeth cannot be identified. Ectopic tooth in deciduous dentition period is very rare and information is limited about its causes and characteristics. The conditions commonly associated with an increased prevalence of ectopic teeth include cleft lip and palate ...
