This review surveys nanoparticle‐based strategies to enhance adoptive cell therapy, particularly CAR‐T cell approaches, in solid tumor treatment. It describes how nanoparticles can improve tumor immunogenicity and T‐cell infiltration while reducing toxicity, and how they enable in vivo CAR‐T cell generation.

Transforming growth factor-β (TGFβ) regulates many cellular processes. Here the authors show that the orphan G-protein coupled receptor GPR50 can activate the TGFβ receptor I, in the absence of TGFβ, by stabilizing its active conformation and show ...

The authors complement bovine pan‐SV with massive novel structural variations (SVs) identified through long‐read sequencing of 83 globally distributed cattle breeds. Repetitive sequence‐mediated SVs (rep‐SV) exhibit distinct dynamic patterns throughout cattle sub‐speciation and/or domestication processes, including uneven distribution between chr‐X and

Genetic analysis of cortical thickness and fractional anisotropy of water diffusion in the brain [PDF]
Objectives: The thickness of the brain’s cortical gray matter (GM) and the fractional anisotropy (FA) of the cerebral white matter (WM) each follow an inverted U-shape trajectory with age. The two measures are positively correlated and may be modulated

Predictive models successfully screen nanoparticles for toxicity and cellular uptake. Yet, complex biological dynamics and sparse, nonstandardized data limit their accuracy. The field urgently needs integrated artificial intelligence/machine learning, systems biology, and open‐access data protocols to bridge the gap between materials science and safe ...

ABSTRACT We examined the relationship between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and epigenetic age acceleration (EAA) in adulthood as measured by second and third generation epigenetic clocks by performing a systematic review of the literature. The electronic databases MEDLINE and EMBASE were searched on 17 July 2023.

Estrogen-related receptor α (ERRα) : a novel target in type 2 diabetes [PDF]
Recent studies have shown that reduced mitochondrial content and function in skeletal muscle are common features of type 2 diabetes. Here, we review the molecular mechanisms involved in the regulation of mitochondrial genes in skeletal muscle, focusing ...
