The Theory of Quaternion Orthogonal Designs
Over the past several years, there has been a renewed interest in complex orthogonal designs for their application in space-time block coding. Motivated by the success of this application, this paper generalizes the definition of complex orthogonal designs by introducing orthogonal designs over the quaternion domain. This paper builds a theory of these

The notion of unbiased orthogonal designs is introduced as a generalization among unbiased Hadamard matrices, unbiased weighing matrices and quasi-unbiased weighing matrices. We provide upper bounds and several constructions for mutually unbiased orthogonal designs. As an application, mutually quasi-unbiased weighing matrices for various parameters are

On the orthogonal designs of order 24
Using a new method, all 18 remaining full orthogonal designs of order 24 in four variables (unsolved for more than 20 years) are constructed. The last three remaining orthogonal designs of order 24 in three variables are obtained as a special case of three of these designs.

Order-of-Addition Orthogonal Arrays with High Strength
In order-of-addition experiments, the full order-of-addition designs are often unaffordable due to their large run sizes. The problem of finding efficient fractional OofA designs arises.

Quaternion Codes in MIMO System of Dual-Polarized Antennas
The use of quaternion orthogonal designs (QODs) to describe point-to-point communication among dual-polarized antennas has the potential to provide higher rate orthogonal and quasi-orthogonal complex designs exploiting polarization diversity among space ...

Mixture Designs Generated by Orthogonal Arrays Developed Using Difference Schemes [PDF]
This paper presents an algorithm for constructing mixture designs based on orthogonal arrays developed using difference schemes. The algorithm can also be applied to constrained mixture experiments.

Construction of Column-Orthogonal Designs with Two-Dimensional Stratifications
For the design of computer experiments, column orthogonality and space-filling are two desirable properties. In this paper, we develop methods for constructing a new class of column-orthogonal designs (ODs) with two-dimensional stratifications on finer ...

Explicit orthogonal and unitary designs
We give a strongly explicit construction of $\varepsilon$-approximate $k$-designs for the orthogonal group $\mathrm{O}(N)$ and the unitary group $\mathrm{U}(N)$, for $N=2^n$. Our designs are of cardinality $\mathrm{poly}(N^k/\varepsilon)$ (equivalently, they have seed length $O(nk + \log(1/\varepsilon)))$; up to the polynomial, this matches the number ...
