Neutrophil Extracellular Trap Reprograms Cancer Metabolism to Form a Metastatic Niche Promoting Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer Brain Metastasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 5, 27 January 2026.
This study mainly combines spatial/single‐cell transcriptomics and metabolomics to reveal LOX+ Malig‐5 as NSCLC brain metastasis‐initiating cells, forming a niche with NET‐releasing neutrophils via the NET‐KRT10 axis. The metastatic niche is involved with metabolic reprogramming, with palmitic acid serving as a key metabolite.

Programmable Chiral Radiation via Spin‐Decoupled Metasurface with Integrated Compound Phases

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 1, 5 January 2026.
A programmable spin‐decoupled metasurface integrating propagation and geometric phases enables high‐purity chiral radiation with reconfigurable emission direction. Spin‐selective radiators combined with a compound phase decoupling strategy suppress undesired components, while embedded PIN diodes allow real‐time directional control.

Physical Interpretation of Diffractive Optical Networks for High‐Dimensional Vortex Mode Sorting

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 1, 5 January 2026.
The first layer‐resolved physical interpretation of diffractive optical networks trained for high‐dimensional vortex mode sorting is presented, revealing transformation division phenomena linked to saturated performance as layer numbers increase. This analysis reconciles physical theorems with network operations, enabling physics‐driven design of ...

High‐Resolution Multiplexed Sequencing of Single‐Cell Full‐length Transcriptome Via Combinational Barcoded Tn5 Transposon Insertion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 1, 5 January 2026.
CBTi‐seq is reported, leveraging Tn5 transposase‐mediated molecular assembly of combinatorial barcodes and UMIs for high‐resolution multiplexed sequencing of the full‐length transcriptome in single cells. This approach achieves molecular resolution by end‐to‐end sequencing, enabling reconstruction of splice variants and accurate quantification of ...
