Genome-Wide Analysis of Cyclophilin Proteins in 21 Oomycetes
Cyclophilins (CYPs), a highly-conserved family of proteins, belong to a subgroup of immunophilins. Ubiquitous in eukaryotes and prokaryotes, CYPs have peptidyl-prolyl cis−trans isomerase (PPIase) activity and have been implicated as virulence ...

The largest family of disease resistance genes in plants are nucleotide-binding site leucine-rich repeat genes (NLRs). The products of these genes are responsible for recognizing avirulence proteins (Avr) of phytopathogens and triggering specific defense

We present a chromosome‐level genome assembly of Siraitia grosvenorii and, through comparative genomics, uncover a conserved UGT73 tandem array driving triterpenoid saponin diversification in Cucurbitaceae. Crystalized SgUGT73AM30 further reveals the regioselectivity mechanism underlying its catalytic activity.

An STI‐guided metagenomic association framework links soybean salt‐tolerance phenotypes with rhizosphere microbiome composition and network organization in natural saline soils. The approach identifies candidate beneficial taxa, including Thalassospira xiamenensis, and provides an efficient strategy for mining stress‐protective microbes from native ...

Glycosyltransferase Family 61 in Liliopsida (Monocot): The Story of a Gene Family Expansion
Plant cell walls play a fundamental role in several plant traits and also influence crop use as livestock nutrition or biofuel production. The Glycosyltransferase family 61 (GT61) is involved in the synthesis of cell wall xylans.

ExOrthist: a tool to infer exon orthologies at any evolutionary distance
Several bioinformatic tools have been developed for genome-wide identification of orthologous and paralogous genes. However, no corresponding tool allows the detection of exon homology relationships.
