Viminalol From Orthosiphon Stamineus

Nigerian Journal of Natural Products and Medicine, 2009
Viminalol and some known compound were isolated have been isolated from the leaves of Malaysian tropical medicinal plant of Orthosiphon stamineus.Viminalol was obtained for the first time from this plant. All the isolated compounds were identified on the basis of UV, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, Dept 90 and 135o, cosy and mass spectral data.

Four Highly Oxygenated Isopimarane-Type Diterpenes of Orthosiphon stamineus

Planta Medica, 2002
Four highly oxygenated isopimarane-type diterpenes, named orthosiphols O, P and Q and nororthosiphonolide A, have been isolated from the aerial parts of Orthosiphon stamineus from Myanmar, together with three known diterpenes, orthosiphols D and E and orthosiphonone A. Their structures were determined on the basis of extensive spectral analysis.

Staminol A, a novel diterpene from Orthosiphon stamineus

Tetrahedron Letters, 1999
Abstract From the aerial part of a Vietnamese medicinal plant, Orthosiphon stamineus Benth . (Lamiaceae), staminol A (1), a diterpene with a novel carbon framework, was isolated together with four new isopimarane-type diterpenes, orthosiphols FI (2–5). Their structures were elucidated by the spectroscopic analyses.

Orthosiphol D and E, minor diterpenes from Orthosiphon stamineus

Phytochemistry, 1993
Abstract From the aerial parts of Orthosiphon stamineus , two new diterpenes, orthosiphols D and E were isolated together with the known rosmarinic acid, sinensetin, scutellarein tetramethyl ether, salvigenin and orthosiphols A and B. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated mainly by spectroscopic methods.
