Интегративная таксономия и эволюционный анализ отдельных видов рода Oscheius Andrássy, 1976
Species of the genus Oscheius have attracted the attention of researchers due to their entomopathogenic character as well as serving as good models for studying development, behaviour, and host-parasite interactions. The main aim of the study was to redescribe an Indian isolate O. tipulae, with morphological and molecular data.Mahboob, Mohammad +3 more

A new entomopathogenic Oscheius (Nematoda: Rhabditidae) from Italian cave
2014Specimens of nematode belonging to Oscheius genis was isolated through the Galleria bait method from soil collected in a karst cave of Tuscany (Central Italy). Molecular and morphological analyses were performed. Total DNA was extracted from individual nematodes and the mitochondrial COI, the ITS containing region and the 18S rRNA gene were amplified ...

Oscheius onirici sp. n. (Figs. 1–3, Table 1) Female: Body almost straight to slightly bent on ventral side when relaxed by gentle heat. Cuticle finely annulated. Lateral fields with basically three longitudinal ridges, delimited by four lines. In few specimens, an additional short running line could be seen in the middle part of body (Fig. 2 H).

Characterisctics of the mitochondrial genome of the roundworm Oscheius myriophila (Rhabditidae)
2017Genus Oscheius represents specific group of nematodes which are facultatively entomopathogenic, i.e. they occur in transient stage between necromenic and parasitic life style. Therefore, it represents an interesting model for evolutionary studies; however, the taxonomy of the genus is still not clear.
