Flexible Dielectric Acoustic Resonator Patch for Tissue Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A flexible dielectric acoustic resonator patch enables MHz‐range ultrasound generation through resonance amplification without using piezoelectric materials. Conformal integration on a curved substrate allows efficient acoustic delivery to tissue‐mimicking environments.

Universal Conductance Fluctuations in Quantum Anomalous Hall Insulators

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Universal conductance fluctuations are observed in mesoscopic quantum anomalous Hall insulators. Two distinct fluctuation patterns are identified, arising from different interference processes of bulk and chiral edge states, respectively. These findings unveil rich quantum interference phenomena in quantum anomalous Hall insulators and provide insights

Gapless Superconductivity From Extremely Dilute Magnetic Disorder in 2H‐NbSe2‐xSx

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate that 2H‐NbSe2‐xSx hosts gapless superconductivity at unexpectedly low magnetic impurity concentrations. Combining STM, Bogoliubovde Gennes simulations, DFT, and quasiparticle interference, we comprehensively study the development of gapless behavior and show that SeS substitution reshapes the band structure, enhances nesting, and drives ...

An oscillation suppression strategy for hybrid DC systems based on virtual resistance

open access: yesZhejiang dianli
Hybrid DC transmission systems are prone to DC current oscillations as the parameters of constant DC current controller increase, an oscillation suppression strategy based on virtual resistance is proposed.

Relaxation oscillation suppression in tunable fibrelasers

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1994
The concept of relaxation oscillation damping of a tunable fibre laser with a nonlinear absorber is discussed. The principle of operation is illustrated through a numerical model with a nonlinear optical loop mirror as the damping element. Results with complete elimination of relaxation oscillations are presented.

Localized Temperature Monitoring in Mouse Brain during Light Delivery via a Non‐Planar Tapered Fiber‐Integrated µRTD Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...

Positively Charged Polymer‐Brush MOFs for Large‐Area, Pressure‐Resistant Gas Separation Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A universal POPA strategy enables positively charged polymer‐brush MOFs with self‐adaptive interfacial interlocking to resist aggregation under fast processing. This design ensures seamless dispersion within large‐area selective layers, achieving 1 m‐wide roll‐to‐roll fabrication of pressure‐resistant MMCMs with tunable CO2 separation performance ...

Mechanism and Coordinated Suppression Strategy for High-Frequency Oscillation in Receiving-End MMC-Based HVDC Systems

open access: yesEnergies
In receiving-end modular multilevel converter (MMC)-based flexible high-voltage direct current (HVDC) grid-connected systems, high-frequency oscillation can significantly increase the peak values of the point of common coupling (PCC) voltage and grid ...

Suppression of temperature oscillation in Czochralski convection by superimposing rotating flows

open access: yes, 1997
A numerical study was made of a control technique of transient oscillatory flows in Czochralski convection. The suppression of temperature oscillation was achieved by changing the rotation rate of crystal rod Omega = Omega(0)(1 + A(S) sin(2 pi/t(p)f(S)t))

Downrange manoeuvre and oscillation suppression of a self-regulating centrifugally deployed flexible heat shield using a controlled reaction wheel

open access: yesActa Astronautica, 2019
A recent study has introduced a flexible deployable heat shield that passively deploys and stiffens due to centrifugal forces generated from a self-regulated autorotation.
