Suppression of stored-beam oscillation and observation of flux improvement during top-up injection

open access: yesPhysical Review Accelerators and Beams, 2017
This paper describes a start-to-end study of the suppression of stored-beam oscillation during top-up injection at the Pohang Light Source (PLS-II) beam line.

Interplay between circadian and other transcription factors—Implications for cycling transcriptome reprogramming

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This perspective highlights emerging insights into how the circadian transcription factor CLOCK:BMAL1 regulates chromatin architecture, cooperates with other transcription factors, and coordinates enhancer dynamics. We propose an updated framework for how circadian transcription factors operate within dynamic and multifactorial chromatin landscapes ...

Investigation of Shock Wave Oscillation Suppression by Overflow in the Supersonic Inlet

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
With a focus on the shock oscillation phenomenon of a supersonic inlet at a high Mach number, the influence of isolator overflow on shock oscillation is studied in this paper.

Conserved structural motifs in PAS, LOV, and CRY proteins regulate circadian rhythms and are therapeutic targets

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

Power-frequency oscillation modeling, analysis and suppression of multi-VSG grid-connected system

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
The virtual synchronous generator (VSG) enhances the inertia response of renewable energy system by mimicking traditional synchronous generators (TSG), but inherits the power-frequency oscillation issue of TSG.

Small signal model and DC side low frequency oscillation analysis of AC/DC distribution network

open access: yes电力工程技术, 2022
With the rapid development and wide range application of AC/DC distribution network, its stability has also become the focus. The low-frequency oscillation at the DC side in the commissioning stage of an AC/DC distribution network project is analyzed ...

Brain Oscillations Mediate Successful Suppression of Unwanted Memories [PDF]

open access: yesCerebral Cortex, 2014
To avoid thinking of unwanted memories can be a successful strategy to forget. Studying brain oscillations as measures of local and inter-regional processing, we shed light on the neural dynamics underlying memory suppression. Employing the think/no-think paradigm, 24 healthy human subjects repeatedly retrieved (think condition) or avoided thinking of (

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

Liquid biopsy epigenetics: establishing a molecular profile based on cell‐free DNA

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) fragments in plasma from cancer patients carry epigenetic signatures reflecting their cells of origin. These epigenetic features include DNA methylation, nucleosome modifications, and variations in fragmentation. This review describes the biological properties of each feature and explores optimal strategies for harnessing cfDNA ...

Day/night variations of myeloid and lymphoid cell subsets in the murine inguinal lymph node

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The circadian system is involved in the temporal regulation of the immune system. Our study reveals that two innate immune populations, NKT cells and neutrophils, predominate at the beginning of the day in healthy mice, highlighting how the time of day influences immune responses.
