Oscillation of certain difference equations [PDF]
summary:Some new criteria for the oscillation of difference equations of the form \[ \Delta ^2 x_n - p_n \Delta x_{n-h} + q_n |x_{g_n}|^c \mathop {\mathrm sgn}x_{g_n} = 0 \] and \[ \Delta ^i x_n + p_n \Delta ^{i-1} x_{n-h} + q_n |x_{g_n}|^c \mathop ...

A Functional 2D Carbon Allotrope Combining Nanoporous Graphene and Biphenylene Segments
The synthesis of a novel nanoporous graphene (NPG) is reported with biphenylene segments via thermal fusion of 12‐armchair porous graphene nanoribbons grown on gold surfaces. Characterization using STM, AFM, and DFT reveals low‐defect semiconducting behaviour and tunable band gaps.

Necessary and sufficient conditions for the oscillation of forced nonlinear second order delay difference equation [PDF]
summary:In this paper the authors give necessary and sufficient conditions for the oscillation of solutions of nonlinear delay difference equations of Emden– Fowler type in the form $\Delta ^2y_{n-1}+q_ny_{\sigma (n)}^\gamma =g_n$, where $\gamma $ is a ...

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

On some aspects of oscillation theory and geometry
The aim of this paper is to analyze some of the relationships between oscillation theory for linear ordinary differential equations on the real line (shortly, ODE) and the geometry of complete Riemannian manifolds.
