Arm‐Length‐Controlled CsPbBr3 Nanocrystals for Tunable Optical and Assembly Behavior

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, the synthesis parameters that dictate the formation of armed CsPbBr3 nanocrystals are described, and routes enabling precise control over arm length are proposed. Direct links between morphology and optoelectronic behavior are established.

Superconductivity, phase fluctuations and the c-axis conductivity of bilayer high temperature superconductors

open access: yes, 2001
We present a theory of the interplane conductivity of bilayer high temperature superconductors, focusing on the effect of quantal and thermal fluctuations on the oscillator strengths of the superfluid stiffness and the bilayer plasmon.

Ubiquitous Antiparallel Domains in 2D Hexagonal Boron Nitride Uncovered by Interferometric Nonlinear Optical Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Interferometric second‐harmonic generation (SHG) imaging reveals the ubiquitous formation of antiparallel domains in CVD‐grown 2D hexagonal boron nitride. By resolving lattice orientation and SHG phase, hidden domain structures and disorder become visible over large areas. The SHG intensity quantitatively tracks crystalline quality across growth routes,

Design and Theoretical Study of D–A–π–A Organic Sensitizers with [1,2,5]Thiadiazolo[3,4-c]pyridine, [1,2,5]Selenadiazolo[3,4-c]pyridine, and [1,2,5]Oxadiazolo[3,4-c]pyridine π Component

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, 2015
The study concerns molecular design and theoretical study of novel prospective organic sensitizers based on D–A–π–A concept. A modification of the concept (DA–π–A) and new ways for design of organic sensitizers are proposed.

The Electron Impact Ionization Cross Sections of Methanol, Ethanol and 1-Propanol

open access: yesAtoms, 2019
In the present investigation, the plane-wave Born approximation was employed to calculate the total ionization cross sections by electron impact of methanol, ethanol and 1-propanol from the threshold of ionization to 10 MeV.

Neuromorphic Electronics for Intelligence Everywhere: Emerging Devices, Flexible Platforms, and Scalable System Architectures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The perspective presents an integrated view of neuromorphic technologies, from device physics to real‐time applicability, while highlighting the necessity of full‐stack co‐optimization. By outlining practical hardware‐level strategies to exploit device behavior and mitigate non‐idealities, it shows pathways for building efficient, scalable, and ...

Resonant Domain Wall Dynamics in a Three‐Dimensional Magnetic Nano Double Helix

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
3D magnetic nanostructures promise exciting possibilities for magnetization dynamics. However, experimental realizations remain scarce. In nanoprinted cobalt double helices, time‐resolved X‐ray microscopy reveals harmonic domain wall dynamics. Simulations identify the mode and additional higher‐frequency resonances, revealing a rich dynamic landscape ...

Experimental Branching Fractions, Transition Probabilities, and Oscillator Strengths of La ii

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series
Branching fractions of 86 La ii lines in the spectral range of 243.340–626.229 nm have been measured using a grating spectrometer based on the emission spectra of a lanthanum hollow cathode lamp.

Charge Transfer States in Donor–Acceptor Bulk‐Heterojunctions as Triplet–Triplet Annihilation Sensitizer for Solid‐State Photon Upconversion

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
A near‐infrared photosensitizer that facilitates efficient solid‐state photon upconversion by recycling triplets formed within a fullerene‐based donor–acceptor bulk‐heterojunction system is demonstrated. Spectroscopic investigations reveal that the energy of photogenerated charge transfer states of triplet character (3CT) is subsequently transferred to
