Collision strengths and oscillator strengths for Fe IX

Atomic Data and Nuclear Data Tables, 1991
Abstract Collision strengths and oscillator strengths are calculated for Fe IX. The three configurations 3 s 2 3 p 6 , 3 s 2 3 p 5 3 d , and 3 s 2 3 p 5 4 s were included in the computations. The data can be applied to the analysis of spectral lines in the solar spectrum and laboratory sources. The collision calculations were executed with the

Optical phonons with a negative oscillator strength

Physics-Uspekhi, 2020
Abstract We discuss the nature of additional (redundant from the point of view of selection rules) optical phonons observed in most crystals with ion–covalent bonds between atoms, including in their solid solutions.

Eigenenergies and oscillator strengths for the Hulthén potential

Physical Review A, 1990
A detailed study of the bound-state properties of the Hulth\'en potential is presented. Accurate eigenenergies are obtained for the Hulth\'en potential by numerical integration of the Schr\"odinger equation. One-parameter variational calculations are carried out.

Recent Advances in the Calculation of Oscillator Strengths

Physica Scripta, 1977
A review of work published since the last beam-foil spectroscopy conference in Gatlinburg (1975) is presented. For allowed transitions whereLScoupling is valid, the NCMET and FOTOS schemes are compared and an extension of the application of FOTOS is proposed.
