Oestersterfte door herpesvirus OsHV-1 in Frankrijk en Ierland
In de zomermaanden van 2008 en 2009 is er massale sterfte geweest onder Japanse oesters in alle belangrijke kweekgebieden in Frankrijk en in 2009 ook in verschillende gebieden in Ierland. Over het algemeen speelt bij verhoogde sterfte in oesterbestanden een combinatie van factoren.
