DENTA: A Dual Enzymatic Nanoagent for Self‐Activating Tooth Whitening and Biofilm Disruption

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The nanoapatite with dual enzymes (DENTA) accumulates in dentinal tubules, reducing hypersensitivity caused by dental nerve exposure and facilitating continuous ROS generation through salivary glucose for effective, long‐term whitening. The dentin structures remain non‐destructive due to the low concentration of ROS, demonstrating excellent cell ...

Estimating the Compressibility of Osmium from Recent Measurements of Ir-Os Alloys under High Pressure. [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physical Chemistry A, 2015
Several fcc- and hcp-structured Ir-Os alloys have been recently studied up to 30 GPa at room temperature by means of synchrotron-based X-ray powder diffraction in diamond anvil cells. Using their bulk moduli, which increase with increasing osmium content,

Towards High‐Acuity Vision Restoration: Hybrid Retinal Prosthesis Composed of a High‐Density Multielectrode Array Integrated With Glutamatergic Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a novel Hybrid Retinal Implant (HRI), composed of a high‐density electrode array integrated with glutamatergic neurons to overcome key limitations of current retinal prostheses. The significant reduction of activation threshold and of electrode cross‐talk yields in an improved spatial resolution.

Method Study on the Separation and Enrichment of Rhenium Measured by Negative Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2013
In Re-Os isotope chronology, the acetone extraction process is quicker and easier compared to the anion exchange method. The Re solution which was separated and purified by acetone extraction is suitable for the measurement by Inductively Coupled Plasma ...

In‐Cell Activation of Organo‐Osmium(II) Anticancer Complexes

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, 2016
The family of iodido OsII arene phenylazopyridine complexes [Os(η6‐p‐cym)(5‐R1‐pyridylazo‐4‐R2‐phenyl))I]+ (where p‐cym=para‐cymene) exhibit potent sub‐micromolar antiproliferative activity towards human cancer cells and are active in vivo.

Controlled Release of Human Dental Pulp Stem Cell‐Derived Exosomes from Hydrogels Attenuates Temporomandibular Joint Osteoarthritis

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Exosomes can reduce tissue damage in temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJOA), but rapid clearance limits their efficacy. This study encapsulates exosomes in hyaluronic acid hydrogels for controlled release. In a rat model, hydrogel‐encapsulated exosomes outperform free exosomes in preserving bone integrity and reducing tissue destruction ...
