Chloride‐Mediated Activation of Aluminum‐Alloyed Liquid Metal Anodes for Stretchable Asymmetric Energy Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
A gallium‐centered cell pairs an aluminum‐alloyed GaIn anode with a GaOOH cathode in a chloride‐rich water‐in‐ionic‐liquid electrolyte. Chlorogallate ions dissolve the native oxide that normally seals the liquid metal, and preferentially reduce indium seeds to oxide‐free clusters on which gallium plates and strips reversibly.

Promoting Healthier Drinking: Evidence From a Vignette Experiment on Contextual and Informational Drivers of Dealcoholized Wine Choices

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Growing demand for healthier beverages is driving innovation in the wine sector, with dealcoholized wine emerging as a promising alternative. However, little is known about the contextual conditions under which consumers would choose dealcoholized wine, particularly in countries with strong wine traditions. To fill this gap, this work examines

pyDMS: A Python package for the determination of physics‐informed dual‐mode sorption (DMS) parameters

open access: yesAIChE Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Sorption in glassy polymer membranes is commonly modeled with the dual‐mode sorption (DMS) model. Fitting the DMS model to sorption isotherms presents challenges, as multiple parameter sets may prove satisfactory. This work presents pyDMS, an open‐source Python package for the computation of DMS parameters obtained via a physics‐informed ...
