Heterotopic ossification and rhabdomyolysis [PDF]
Heterotopic ossification and rhabdomyolysis are well described entities but, as far as we know, their association has never been described in the literature. We recently treated a patient who presented with this association. After a suicide attempt, this patient developed rhabdomyolysis of the left upper and lower limbs with peripheral neurological ...

This study presents a ″trash‐to‐treasure″ strategy that converts harmful joint overloads into beneficial electrical cues. The biodegradable MagPie, by providing piezoelectrical stimulation and releasing Mg2+ during mastication, exerts synergistic pro‐regenerative and anti‐inflammatory effects on Prg4+ cells via the ECM‐mediated FAK‐PI3K‐Akt axis ...

Heterotopic ossification and the elucidation of pathologic differentiation
Tissue regeneration following acute or persistent inflammation can manifest a spectrum of phenotypes ranging from the adaptive to the pathologic. Heterotopic Ossification (HO), the endochondral formation of bone within soft-tissue structures following ...

A pro‐inflammatory microglial subset persists after decompression in chronic compressive cervical spinal cord injury and shows enhanced Dnmt3a‐driven m5C signaling. By stabilizing RelA mRNA, this axis sustains NF‐κB activation and postoperative neuroinflammation.

OSSIFICATION OF THE MENINGES [PDF]
"Death seems to be the only object of hope and consolation in all such deplorable cases, as the unhappy patient must be frequently subject to pains, spasms, and occasional dereliction of the faculties, both of body and mind, which... are likely to terminate...

THBS1+ Macrophages Exacerbate Modic Changes via SDC4‐Dependent Activation of NLRP3 Inflammasome
The illustration of THBS1+ macrophages exacerbate MCs via SDC4‐dependent activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome. THBS1+ macrophage subpopulation was identified in MCs through single‐cell RNA sequencing. C. acnes and its metabolites activate THBS1 expression in macrophages via the TLR signaling pathway.
