Osteosarcopenic Obesity’s Role in Older Adults’ Falls and Vertebral Fractures
Objective: The co-occurrence of osteoporosis, sarcopenia, and obesity is known as osteosarcopenic obesity (OSO). This study examined the frequency of OSO in older adult outpatients and its connection to falls and spinal fractures. Materials and Methods: Participants in this cross-sectional study were outpatients 60 years of age or above.

Demonstrating the clinical consequences of osteosarcopenic obesity (OSO) is complex. This study evaluated clinical manifestations and factors associated with bone and muscle loss in Koreans with obesity. This cross-sectional observational study enrolled Koreans with obesity aged ≥ 50 years from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.

Potential of bioimpedance analysis for diagnostics of osteosarcopenic obesity components
Rationale. Physiological aging has all the factors that contribute to the development of obesity, sarcopenia and osteoporosis through increased fat mass, decreased muscle mass and strength, and decreased bone mass. It is clear that the direct impact of osteosarcopenic obesity poses a potential threat to public health.
