Numerical study of the singular nonlinear initial value problem with applications in astrophysics
The proposed models are very essential in several phenomena, especially astrophysics, cosmology, fluid mechanics, chemical engineering, and biophysics. The paper presents a exhaustive investigation of the convergence features and numerical performance of

Analytical solutions for the flow of Carreau and Cross fluids in circular pipes and thin slits [PDF]
In this paper, analytical expressions correlating the volumetric flow rate to the pressure drop are derived for the flow of Carreau and Cross fluids through straight rigid circular uniform pipes and long thin slits.

This study indicates that Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) does not originate from Merkel cells, and identifies gene, protein & cellular expression of immune‐linked and neuroendocrine markers in primary and metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) tumor samples, linked to Merkel cell polyomavirus (MCPyV) status, with enrichment of B‐cell and other immune cell

An Arnoldi-frontal approach for the stability analysis of flows in a collapsible channel [PDF]
In this paper, we present a new approach based on a combination of the Arnoldi and frontal methods for solving large sparse asymmetric and generalized complex eigenvalue problems.

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Temperature log simulations in high-enthalpy boreholes
Temperature logs have important applications in the geothermal industry such as the estimation of the static formation temperature (SFT) and the characterization of fluid loss from a borehole.

Stabilized material point methods for coupled large deformation and fluid flow in porous materials
The material point method (MPM) has been increasingly used for the simulation of large deformation processes in fluid-infiltrated porous materials. For undrained poromechanical problems, however, standard MPMs are numerically unstable because they use ...

Liquid biopsy epigenetics: establishing a molecular profile based on cell‐free DNA
Cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) fragments in plasma from cancer patients carry epigenetic signatures reflecting their cells of origin. These epigenetic features include DNA methylation, nucleosome modifications, and variations in fragmentation. This review describes the biological properties of each feature and explores optimal strategies for harnessing cfDNA ...
