Anatomy of $\varepsilon'/\varepsilon$ beyond the Standard Model
We present for the first time a model-independent anatomy of the ratio $\varepsilon'/\varepsilon$ in the context of the $\Delta S = 1$ effective theory with operators invariant under QCD and QED and in the context of the Standard Model Effective Field ...

Developing an evidence‐based model to implement co‐governance
Abstract Governments are seeking innovative ways to address complex policy issues in increasingly fragmented and fiscally constrained service contexts. Co‐governance is a relatively new mechanism for facilitating collective decision‐making between government and other stakeholders. Effective co‐governance can be difficult to establish and resource‐ and

Looking for an Invisible Higgs Signal at the LHC
While the recent discovery of a Higgs-like boson at the LHC is an extremely important and encouraging step towards the discovery of the {\it complete} standard model(SM), the current information on this state does not rule out possibility of beyond ...

Vector boson fusion at multi-TeV muon colliders
High-energy lepton colliders with a centre-of-mass energy in the multi-TeV range are currently considered among the most challenging and far-reaching future accelerator projects. Studies performed so far have mostly focused on the reach for new phenomena

Sensitivity to Z-prime and non-standard neutrino interactions from ultra-low threshold neutrino-nucleus coherent scattering [PDF]
We discuss prospects for probing Z-prime and non-standard neutrino interactions using neutrino-nucleus coherent scattering with ultra-low energy (~ 10 eV) threshold Si and Ge detectors.

Abstract Background and aims There are currently no brief quantitative assessments that capture the drug patterns of people who engage in use of more than one drug on the same day or simultaneously. The current study examined the retest reliability, acceptability and feasibility of a new quantitative assessment to measure polysubstance use.

Neutrino masses in the mirror twin Higgs with spontaneous ℤ 2 breaking
We introduce a mirror twin Higgs model with spontaneous ℤ 2 symmetry breaking that ameliorates the constraints in twin Higgs cosmology and, at the same time, generates the Standard Model neutrino masses.

Interpreting electroweak precision data including the W-mass CDF anomaly
We perform a global fit of electroweak data, finding that the anomaly in the W mass claimed by the CDF collaboration can be reproduced as a universal new-physics correction to the T parameter or |H † D μ H|2 operator.

Abstract In an adversarial collaboration, two preregistered U.S.‐based studies (total N = 6181) tested three hypotheses regarding the relationship between political ideology and belief rigidity (operationalized as less evidence‐based belief updating): rigidity‐of‐the‐right, symmetry, and rigidity‐of‐extremes.

We describe a novel variation of the mirror twin Higgs model in which the color gauge group in both sectors is extended to SU(4) c and spontaneously broken to SU(3) c exclusively in the visible sector.
