Thermodynamic Limits to Molecular Doping in Conjugated Polymers: A Perspective on Phase Behavior and Miscibility

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular doping of conjugated polymers is fundamentally constrained by thermodynamic phase behavior. This Perspective reframes doping efficiency and stability in terms of miscibility limits, binodals, and solvus boundaries, highlighting the role of effective interaction parameters and charge transfer.

On that one poverty of the stimulus argument

open access: yesNordlyd: Tromsø University Working Papers on Language & Linguistics, 2008
This paper examines the logical problem of language acquisition drawing upon an experimental study on children’s knowledge of anaphoric one by Lidz, Waxman and Freedman (2003). The finding was that, upon being presented with the instruction “Look!

Experimental study on revision of ECWMF clear-rainy forecast in Sichuan region

open access: yes暴雨灾害, 2022
Base on the precipitation forecast of ECWMF model from 2016 to 2019 and the observation data, five schemes are designed to carry out revision experiment on numerical model clear-rainy forecast, including Optimal Percentile (OP), the Optimal Threat Score (

Fabrication of PEDOT–OTS-patterned ITO substrates

open access: yes, 2010
The fabrication of a poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) pattern is demonstrated. As template, an n-octadecyltrichlorosilane (OTS) monolayer self-assembled on indium tin oxide (ITO) was structured by UV–ozone photolithography, resulting in an ITO ...

Control of Bacterial Attachment on Macroporous PDMS/Paraffin SLIPS With Varying Lubricant Viscosity

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Slippery liquid‐infused porous surfaces (SLIPS) prepared from macroporous PDMS, infused with medical‐grade paraffins, were systematically investigated regarding the correlation of viscosity, surface corrugation, bulk porosity, and bacterial resistance. Substrate porosity was found to dominate lubricant stabilization and the antifouling activity.

Tracking Affective Language Comprehension: Simulating and Evaluating Character Affect in Morally Loaded Narratives

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2019
Facial electromyography research shows that corrugator supercilii (“frowning muscle”) activity tracks the emotional valence of linguistic stimuli. Grounded or embodied accounts of language processing take such activity to reflect the simulation or “re ...

A Review of Optical Tweezers with Metasurfaces

open access: yesPhotonics, 2023
Optical tweezers (OTs) have made significant progress in recent years, realizing the non-contact optical manipulation of target objects through the interaction between light and matter. In addition to trapping particles with the intensity gradient of the

Probabilistic Computing via Gate‐Tunable Random Telegraph Noise

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Intrinsic random telegraph noise in metal–oxide–semiconductor field‐effect transistors is harnessed to create gate‐tunable probabilistic bits. By modulating carrier‐trapping dynamics, the device produces stochastic binary outputs with a continuous bias‐to‐probability transfer.

The Non-Biological Evolution of Grammar: Wh-Question Formation in Germanic

open access: yesBiolinguistics, 2009
The wh-marking of questions in child English is as early as the appearance of the wh-questions themselves. The wh-marking of questions in child Dutch (and the other Germanic languages) is delayed until the acquisition of articles and free anaphoric ...
