Unlocking Long‐Lived Charge‐Separated State in Pentamethine Cyanine Based on Anionic Hofmeister Effect for Photodynamic Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Based on the anionic Hofmeister effect, a universal strategy of incorporation of stereo‐π anion BPh4− into a series of Cy5 skeletons to unlock long‐lived charge‐separated states was reported, wherein the weak electronic coupling and low charge recombination driving force hinder the charge recombination process, elevating the oxygen‐independent ROS ...

Measuring tax complexity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
This paper critically examines a number of issues relating to the measurement of tax complexity. It starts with an analysis of the concept of tax complexity, distinguishing tax design complexity and operational complexity.

Opposite Trap‐State Evolution Pathways Govern Endurance and Retention Failure in Amorphous Chalcogenide Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
GeSbSe selector‐only memory devices are investigated through physical and electrical analyses to reveal opposite trap‐state evolution pathways governing reliability degradation. Endurance cycling drives Se migration, transitioning traps from deep to shallow states.

Donor-specific toxicity of copanlisib identified using immune-humanized mice

open access: yesCancer Immunology, Immunotherapy
Copanlisib is a pan-phosphoinositide-3-kinase-inhibitor originally indicated for adult patients with relapsed follicular lymphoma who had received at least two prior systemic therapies. At the time this study was conducted, it was approved for use by the

Enzyme‐Linked Cycloaddition Assay (ELCA) for Rapid, Ultra‐Sensitive Monitoring of Secreted Sialoglycoproteins

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Secreted glycoproteins report on cellular state faster than the cell surface, yet remain hard to measure. The Enzyme‐Linked Cycloaddition Assay (ELCA) combines metabolic azide labeling with click chemistry in an ELISA‐like microplate format, resolving sialylation changes within minutes for 1‐2 EUR per sample.

P16 Cutoff in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma: Correlation between Tumor and Patient Characteristics and Outcome

open access: yesThe International Journal of Biological Markers, 2016
Background p16 has been indicated as a suitable surrogate biomarker of HPV infection. The prognosis of p16-positive oropharynx tumors (OTs) of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) histology is better than that of p16-negative tumors.

Determining the Relationship Between Composition, Structure, and Device Properties of GexSe1‐x‐Based Selector‐Only Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Composition‐dependent structural evolution in GeXSe1‐X selector‐only memory (SOM) is correlated with device switching behavior. Increasing Ge strengthens network rigidity, suppresses atomic motion, and stabilizes threshold switching, while narrowing the memory window. The revealed structure–property relationship provides a guideline for compositionally

OTS-Wiki: A Web Community for Fostering Evaluation and Selection of Off-The-Shelf Software Components [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Many challenges arises when it comes to the selection of Off-The-Shelf (OTS) software components to use in software development. To make the selection process easier, other users experience on working out similar tasks could be of great value.
