Determinants of Corporate Carbon Disclosure: A Systematic Framework and Agenda for Future Research

open access: yesAccounting &Finance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Companies are increasingly expected to act swiftly to reduce their environmental impact and disclose detailed information about their carbon emissions. This study develops a multidimensional framework that links external factors and internal organisational conditions shaping the adoption and promotion of carbon disclosure.

Ovarian reserve, oxidative stress and glycemic profile parameters in women with type 1 diabetes mellitus using different insulin therapy regimens

open access: yesСахарный диабет
BACKGROUND: Women with type 1 diabetes mellitus (DM) have a high frequency of menstrual irregularities and perinatal complications. New methods for monitoring the glycemic profile provide opportunities to analyze the effectiveness of insulin therapy ...

Frequency and Severity of Allergic Reactions to Non‐Mandatory Labelled Allergenic Foods—Data From Two Large European Cohorts

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
In two large European cohorts, 589 reactions to non‐mandatory labelled plant‐based foods were identified with sunflower seed, pine nut, pea and lentil as the most frequent triggers. Reaction severity was not different between mandatory and non‐mandatory labelled allergenic foods. Their frequency and rising trends (e.g., fenugreek, pumpkin seed) support

Lower AKI Risk and Higher Survival With Microaxial Flow Pump Support During Elective PCI: A Propensity Score-Matched Study. [PDF]

open access: yesCatheter Cardiovasc Interv
ABSTRACT Background Acute kidney injury (AKI) is associated with worse outcomes after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Previous, smaller studies suggested nephroprotective effects of micro‐axial flow pump (mAFP) during PCI. This study aimed to compare renal outcomes of high‐risk PCI with mAFP or intraaortic balloon pump (IABP) support.

A Bayes factor framework for unified parameter estimation and hypothesis testing

open access: yesBritish Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract The Bayes factor, the data‐based updating factor of the prior to posterior odds of two hypotheses, is a natural measure of statistical evidence for one hypothesis over the other. We show how Bayes factors can also be used for parameter estimation.

The Pathological Roles of Cationic Amino Acid Transporters (CATs) in Cancer

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
CAT family transporters (SLC7A1–SLC7A4) coordinate arginine allocation within the tumor microenvironment, thereby regulating cancer metabolism, mTORC1 signaling, immune responses, and metastatic progression. Emerging evidence supports context‐dependent roles for SLC7A1–SLC7A3, whereas the physiological and pathological functions of SLC7A4 remain poorly

Local cytokines and vaginal microbiota profiles in various pregnancy outcomes

open access: yesИнфекция и иммунитет
The identification of risk factors for early pregnancy termination is an important aspect in modern obstetrics. The vaginal microbiota plays a significant role in normal pregnancy course affecting the local immune response.
