High‐Performance n‐Type Organic Thermoelectrics Enabled by Control Over Microstructure, Orientation and Contact Plane in Naphthalenediimide‐Bithiazole‐Copolymer Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Effective control over the crystalline contact plane and microstructure of a naphthalenediimide‐bithiazole copolymer enables high‐performance n‐type thermoelectrics. While rubbing alignment induces a detrimental edge‐on orientation, subsequent solvent vapor‐induced re‐orientation facilitates a favorable mixed face‐on/edge‐on morphology.

The relative biological effectiveness of out-of-field dose

Physics in Medicine and Biology, 2015
using simulations and models derived from existing literature, this work investigates relative biological effectiveness (RBE) for out-of-field radiation and attempts to quantify the relative magnitudes of different contributing phenomena (spectral, bystander, and low dose hypersensitivity effects).

Low dose out-of-field radiotherapy, part 1: Measurement of scattered doses

Cancer/Radiothérapie, 2017
To measure out-of-field doses in a phantom model to better quantify this radiation. The individual contribution of photons and neutrons to the total out-of-field dose for 6 MV and 20 MV photons at open beam were measured in a purpose-designed water phantom.
