Direct Growth of 2D Bilayers on Au(111) for Low‐Coercive Sliding Ferroelectricity

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Controlled CVD growth of stacking‐defined bilayer ReS2 on Au(111) enables parallel‐stacked bilayers with intrinsic sliding ferroelectricity, a strong piezoelectric response, and an ultralow coercive voltage. Atomic‐resolution imaging and in situ measurements further reveal the decisive role of clean interfaces in achieving low‐barrier ferroelectric ...

Output feedback neurolinearization

ISA Transactions, 2001
Output-feedback neurolinearization as a new method in model independent input/output linearization has been developed. In this method input-output linearization is done only based on the input-output data of the system. The performance of this new method is compared to the global linearizing control (GLC) and to a conventional PI controller.

Input-output linearization by dynamic output feedback

2013 European Control Conference (ECC), 2013
The problem of input-output linearization by dynamic output feedback of discrete-time multi-input multi-output nonlinear control systems is considered in this paper. The system is described by the set of higher order input-output difference equations.

On passivation with dynamic output feedback

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2001
Global stabilization of the linear-nonlinear cascade system \[ \dot x= f(x,\xi),\qquad \dot\xi= A\xi+ Bu \] (with \(x\in\mathbb{R}^v\), \(\xi\in\mathbb{R}^n\), and \(u\in \mathbb{R}^m\)) is considered in this paper. This system has previously been treated as a full state feedback problem.

Output feedback control of PMSM

49th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC), 2010
The problem of controlling a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor is approached in this paper eliminating the necessity of including a speed sensor and without knowledge of the (constant) load torque. The proposed controller is obtained by equipping a well-known state-feedback scheme with an observer for estimating the speed and an adaptation law for the

Output Feedback and Generic Stabilizability

SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, 1984
This paper is concerned with problems of generic stabilizability of time- invariant linear systems by static linear output feedback. Let \(L_{m,n,p}\) be the space of all real linear systems (A,B,C) having m inputs, n states and p outputs. The problem is: For which dimensions m,n,p can one stabilize all (A,B,C) \(\in L_{m,n,p}\) except perhaps those ...

Regularization of descriptor systems by output feedback

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1994
Conditions are given under which a descriptor, or generalized state-space system can be regularized by output feedback. It is shown that under these conditions, proportional and derivative output feedback controls can be constructed such that the closed-loop system is regular and has index at most one.

Output feedback realization of state feedback systems

Proceedings of the 39th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (Cat. No.00CH37187), 2002
Presents a general formulation for the realization of a linear state feedback system using output feedback. The proposed formulation can be applied to any linear state feedback design, provided that an observable output signal is available. We show that scalar output is sufficient to achieve the realization, even in the case of MIMO state feedback ...
