Primary borderline mucinous neoplasm of the testis: A case report and literature review
Testicular/paratesticular neoplasms morphologically resembling surface epithelial tumors of ovarian type are rare neoplasms. The criteria for the diagnosis and nomenclature of these tumors parallels those used for ovarian homologues.

Histomorphological spectrum of ovarian tumors - A tertiary care center experience
Background: Ovarian tumors are a heterogeneous group of neoplasms with variable clinical, morphological, and histological features. Ovarian cancer is the leading cause of death in females. Aims and Objectives: (1) To study and characterize the ovarian

Triple peptide vaccination as consolidation treatment in women affected by ovarian and breast cancer: clinical and immunological data of a phase I/II clinical trial [PDF]
Vaccination with priming and expansion of tumour reacting T cells is an important therapeutic option to be used in combination with novel checkpoint inhibitors to increase the specificity of the T cell infiltrate and the efficacy of the treatment. In

Cell‐free and extracellular vesicle microRNAs with clinical utility for solid tumors
Cell‐free microRNAs (cfmiRs) are small‐RNA circulating molecules detectable in almost all body biofluids. Innovative technologies have improved the application of cfmiRs to oncology, with a focus on clinical needs for different solid tumors, but with emphasis on diagnosis, prognosis, cancer recurrence, as well as treatment monitoring.

Reducing Histopathology Slide Magnification Improves the Accuracy and Speed of Ovarian Cancer Subtyping [PDF]
Artificial intelligence has found increasing use for ovarian cancer morphological subtyping from histopathology slides, but the optimal magnification for computational interpretation is unclear. Higher magnifications offer abundant cytological information, whereas lower magnifications give a broader histoarchitectural overview.

Tumor microenvironment drives cancer formation and progression. We analyzed the role of human cancer‐associated adipocytes from patients with renal cell carcinoma (RCC) stratified as lean, overweight, or obese. RNA‐seq demonstrated that, among the most altered genes involved in the tumor–stroma crosstalk, are ADAM12 and CYP1B1, which were proven to be ...
