Pathways and pitfalls: a qualitative study of student experiences in biomedical science education
Biomedical science students from underrepresented backgrounds face barriers including financial strain, disrupted laboratory access and cultural exclusion. Peer networks provide vital support when institutional systems are difficult to navigate. To create inclusive learning environments and achieve academic success, educators should blend active, hands‐

Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

Infinite horizon economies with borrowing constraints [PDF]
We consider infinite horizon economies with incomplete financial markets. Securities are in positive net supply and may be infinite-lived. We establish existence of equilibria by requiring borrowing constrains instead of portfolio restrictions ...

ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Multiple sclerosis (MS) exhibits racially disparate rates of disease progression. Black people with MS (B‐PwMS) experience a more severe disease course than non‐Hispanic White people with MS (NHW‐PwMS). Here we investigated structural and functional connectivity as well as structure–function decoupling in the ...

Aquaporin‐4 in Narcolepsy Type 1: Investigation of Perivascular Fluid Movement in Sleep Disorders
ABSTRACT Narcolepsy type 1 (NT1) is caused by the loss of hypocretin‐1 leading to excessive daytime sleepiness and cataplexy. Additionally, disrupted nighttime sleep has become an increasingly recognized feature of NT1. As the glymphatic fluid movement has been linked to sleep architecture, we investigated cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) Aquaporin‐4 (AQP4 ...

TROPOSCATTER COMMUNICATION LINK MODEL BASED ON RAY-TRACING
Background. At present, the demand in tropospheric over-the-horizon communication systems determines the inherent advantages of these systems over satellite and radio-relay systems of direct visibility, especially in combat and emergency situations ...
