Over Current Protection for PFM Control DC-DC Converter

open access: yesIEICE Transactions on Fundamentals of Electronics, Communications and Computer Sciences, 2009
An over current protection method suitable for Fixed ON-time PFM (Pulse Frequency Modulation) Control DC-DC converters is proposed. It is based on inductor bottom current limiting, realized by monitoring the synchronous rectifier current and extending the OFF-phase of the main switch until it decreases to a predetermined limit, and can properly limit ...

Optimization of Impedance-Accelerated Inverse-Time Over-Current Protection Based on Improved Quantum Genetic Algorithm

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
This paper proposes an impedance-accelerated inverse-time over-current protection optimization scheme based on the improved quantum genetic algorithm. First, the speed of remote backup protection is improved by increasing the optimization level of backup

Optimal Coordination of Over-Current Relays in Microgrids Using Unsupervised Learning Techniques

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
Microgrids constitute complex systems that integrate distributed generation (DG) and feature different operational modes. The optimal coordination of directional over-current relays (DOCRs) in microgrids is a challenging task, especially if topology ...

Therapeutic Apheresis in Nigeria: A Multi‐Center Summary of Abstracts From the Inaugural Nigerian Society for Apheresis Scientific Meeting

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Therapeutic apheresis (TA) is an established treatment modality for hematologic, neurologic, and immunologic disorders, yet access remains severely limited in sub‐Saharan Africa. Donor apheresis, including platelet apheresis collection from healthy donors, represents an important complementary modality supporting blood product ...

Design of novel intrinsically safe power supply with 'ia' grade

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2017
According to working condition of mine-used power supply in coal mine underground, novel intrinsically safe power supply with 'ia' grade was designed. The power supply uses a fully enclosed AC-DC module to eliminate special flameproof enclosure, and has ...

Serum Myonectin Levels Are Positively Associated With Physical Function and Lower Frailty‐Related Limitation in Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients: A Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients frequently suffer from frailty, characterized by reduced physical function and poor prognosis. Myokines, such as myonectin, secreted by muscle, are emerging regulators of systemic health. This study investigated the relationship between serum myonectin, adipokines (adiponectin, omentin), and ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
